Un intervento artistico in uno spazio rurale in Salento.

L’11 agosto, nell’agro di Lequile (LE), avrà luogo D I S T I C O, un’azione artistica che traccia un solco profondo nell’ambiente in cui si esprime.
Le opere su tela, poster e audio escono dalle mura per prendersi cura di uno spazio rurale senza cura. Per portare al centro del discorso la periferia delle periferie, lo scarto dello scarto.
E mentre vanno in giro, si interrogano su come questo stridere col proprio ambiente generatore ha creato le condizioni per farle esistere. Sono una denuncia spietata di un habitat distico, binario, dalla soffocante staticità.
L’intervento artistico in quanto tale costituisce un errore di riproduzione in un andamento continuo e seriale. Un salto di trascrizione. L’essenza per una variazione evolutiva. E così vaga e colpisce la grettezza con l’esistenza.
Sarà lo spazio rurale, antecedente ad ogni giudizio, grado zero di una società stratificata, ad essere, della transumanza, il testimone muto.

ART INTERVENTION IN RURAL SPACE

On 11th August, in the countryside of Lequile (Italy), D I S T I C O is taking place, an art action that traces a deep furrow in the environment in which it is expressed.
The works on canvas, poster and audio leave the walls to take care of a rural space without care, thus bringing to the centre of discourse the periphery of peripheries, the reject of rejects.
And as they walk around, they wonder how this clash with their generative environment has created the conditions for them to exist. They are a merciless denunciation of a distichous, binary and suffocatingly static habitat.
The artistic intervention as such constitutes a reproduction error in a continuous, serial trend. A transcription leap. The essence for an evolutionary variation.
And so it wanders and strikes dullness with existence.
The rural space, antecedent to all judgement, degree zero of a stratified society, will be, the mute witness of transhumance.
