Fondazione Berengo invites you to the opening of  “JANUS”, the new solo show by internationally renowned Spanish artist Jaume Plensa!

Join us for the opening on the 18th of April 2024 at the Chiesa di San Gallo from 5pm to experience the wonder of Plensa’s emotive works first hand.

Opening this April in Venice the artist’s new exhibition takes inspiration from the double faced Roman god in a site-specific installation that takes over the 15th century interiors of the Chiesa di San Gallo.

Curated by Adriano Berengo, a meditative scene awaits an audience with new works by the artist in alabaster and glass. Plensa notes how within the chaos and violence of contemporary society he hopes the exhibition can provide a space of solace, a place that can foster “long-awaited harmony and peace.”
