Jon Verney was born and raised in New Salem, Massachusetts, and received his BFA in Painting from Massachusetts College of Art. His work deals with converging and diverging cosmologies. Combining painting, drawing, photography and video he explores how humans use various methods of orienting themselves within the universe. He will begin his graduate studies at the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art in the Fall of 2014.

Jon Verney è nato e cresciuto a New Salem, nel Massachusetts, e ha ricevuto la sua laurea BFA in Pittura dal Massachusetts College of Art. Il suo lavoro si occupa dei convergenti e divergenti cosmologie. Vengono esplorati tramite la pittura, disegno, fotografia e video, i vari metodi per gli essere umani di orientarsi all'interno dell'universo.
