Negli spazi di Via Cavour 85, ad Arezzo, inaugura domenica 21settembre 2014, alle ore 18, la mostra personale di fotografia del fotografo Claudio Vinci dal titolo Sliding Doors.
L’esposizione, a cura di Danielle Villicana D’Annibale, ospiterà circa venti sublimi fotografie recenti, tutte inedite ed esposte per la prima volta ad Arezzo. L’installazione includerà una selezione di lavori straordinari, ispirati da tre delle più belle province italiane, Arezzo, Siena e Grosseto, tutti e tre città toscane che senza dubbio vantano tra i più sensazionali paesaggi sul pianeta.
La mostra proseguirà, a ingresso gratuito, fino a mercoledì 1 ottobre 2014 con il seguente orario: domenica 21 settembre dalle ore 18 alle ore 20, dal martedì al sabato, dalle ore 16 alle ore 20.
Il catalogo che accompagnerà la mostra è creato dalla curatrice, e abbellito da una recensione di Stefano Giommoni.

Con estrema felicità Via Cavour 85 presenta Claudio Vinci per la sua prima mostra personale. Fotografo apprezzato, dal 1988 Vinci lavora come fotografo professionista ad Arezzo, e gode una carriera che si allunga oltre ventisei anni, esercitando un’esperienza nel campo che risale a oltre trentacinque anni. Osservatore perspicace, Vinci è come un’aquila che vola alto e osserva le semplici bellezze, inquadra delle poesie, e respira i splendidi panorami col quale si unisce e si fonde, diventando un insieme col paesaggio e gli elementi. Sincero e con gusto immacolato, lui prende ispirazione dal ricco patrimonio italiano e celebra la bellezza che secoli e generazioni precedenti hanno coltivato con attenzione, amore e passione. Con questa nuova serie di immagini, lui rende omaggio al più grande artista di tutti i tempi: Madre Natura.
Un’anima umile con una disposizione gentile, il fotografo è dotato di un'innata abilità di catturare momenti di gloria e perfezione. Affascinato da tre dei quattro elementi, Vinci osserva e documenta la magica danza mistica dove la terra, l’aria e l’acqua interagiscono insieme in piena armonia. Nuvole maestose galleggiano nell’aria, creando amichevoli ombre, alterando la luce in una maniera avvincente, illuminando il terreno modellato dalla mano paziente e diligente del uomo. Ulivi potati con eleganza, orgoglio e perfezione scultorea, incastonati nelle colline ondulanti. Sliding doors, le nuvole che si muovono repentinamente attraverso il cielo, la brezza che fruscia nel paesaggio toscano in simbiosi con la luce d’orata, come se fosse miriadi di opportunità da afferrare, e prosperità da coltivare. Come ha spiegato il fotografo Vinci, questa bontà l’ha raccolta, queste sliding doors, queste porte scorrevoli ricche di opportunità le ha attraversate, con la scelta di soffermarsi sulla professione di fotografo, grazie a degli incontri convincenti che l’hanno fatto avvicinare al mondo affascinante della fotografia negli anni 70.
Tra le fotografie in mostra create nei mesi di luglio e agosto 2014, notiamo ulivi, campi di grano, balle di paglia, laghi, remote case di campagna isolate, e suggestivo legno depositato dal mare sulle rive. Il tutto raffigurato con maestria.
Come descrive con apprezzamento Stefano Giommoni nel catalogo “Non possiamo che rimanere incantati nell’osservare le immagini di Claudio Vinci. Se da una parte il merito è sicuramente attribuibile all’indiscutibile fascino del paesaggio toscano, dall’altra, il frutto di sì tanta meraviglia, che queste foto riescono a far nascere dentro la nostra anima, è legato alla sensibilità e alle capacità tecniche dell’autore. La scelta di cogliere questi spazi immortalando particolari linee prospettiche che si dissolvono verso l’orizzonte e che, fino a diventare eteree, si congiungono allo spazio infinito del cielo, astrae l’osservatore dalla realtà materiale per essere proiettato in una dimensione spirituale dove si respira il mistero del creato”.

Breve biografia:
Claudio Vinci nasce ad Arezzo nel 1958. Si dedica alla fotografia come hobby alla fine degli anni 70, per poi farne la propria professione dal 1988. Si dedica prevalentemente alla ripresa di cerimonie e al ritratto. Dal 2008, grazie ad una iniziativa di Confartigianato Arezzo, svolge, insieme ad un gruppo di colleghi, lavori di documentazione del territorio, del folklore, e delle realtà produttive artigianali di alcuni Comuni della provincia di Arezzo. Nel recente sta collaborando con la Villicana D’Annibale Galleria d’Arte e Via Cavour 85 di Arezzo per la quale cura le riprese fotografiche ufficiali delle mostre.

Sliding Doors
The photography of Claudio Vinci on exhibit in Arezzo from September 21 to October 1, 2014

At Via Cavour 85 in Arezzo, on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 6pm, will inaugurate the solo exhibition of photography of the Tuscan artist Claudio Vinci entitled Sliding Doors.
The exposition, curated by Danielle Villicana D’Annibale, will host approximately twenty sublime recent photographs, all of which will be exhibited for the very first time in the city of Arezzo. The installation will include a selection of extraordinary works, inspired by three of the most beautiful Italian provinces, Arezzo, Siena and Grossetto, all three Tuscan cities which undoubtedly boast some of the most sensational landscapes on the planet. The exhibit will proceed, at free entrance, until Wednesday, October 1, 2014, with the following hours: Sunday, September 21 from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesday to Saturday, from 4am to 8pm. A catalogue will accompany the exhibit, created by the curator, and will include an essay by Stefano Giommoni.

It is an extreme pleasure for Via Cavour 85 to present Claudio Vinci for his first official solo exhibition.
Successful photographer, since 1988 Vinci has worked as a professional photographer in Arezzo, Tuscany, and enjoys a lengthy career that has stretched over twenty-six years, employing his experience in the field which spreads back approximately thirty-five years. A keen observer, Vinci is as an eagle who flies high and observes the simple beauties, focuses on and frames the poetry, and breathes the splendid panoramas with which he unites himself and melts into becoming one with the landscape and the elements. Sincere and with immaculate taste, he takes inspiration by the rich Italian heritage and celebrates the beauty that centuries and previous generations have cultivated with attention, love and passion. With this new series of images, he pays homage to the greatest artist of all time: Mother Nature.
A humble soul with a gentle nature, the photographer is gifted with an inherent ability to capture moments of glory and perfection. Fascinated by three of the four elements, Vinci observes and documents the magical mystic dance where earth, air and water interact together in perfect harmony. Majestic clouds float high in the air, creating friendly shadows, altering light in an engaging manner, illuminating the land modelled by the patient and diligent hand of man. Olive trees pruned with elegance, pride and sculptural perfection. Sliding doors, the clouds that move swiftly across the sky, the breeze that rustles through the Tuscan landscape in symbiosis with the golden light, as if it were a myriad of opportunities to seize, and prosperty to cultivate. As the photographer Vinci explained, this bounty he has gathered, these sliding doors rich in opportunity, he has passed through them, with the decision to halt on the profession as photographer, thanks to some influential friendships which made him approach the fascinating world of photography in the 70’s.
Amongst the photographs on exhibition created in the months of July and August, 2014, we note olive groves, fields of grain hay-stacks, lakes, remote and isolated country farm-houses and suggestive driftwood deposited along the coast of the sea. All of which are depicted with mastery.
As Stefano Giommoni describes with appreciation in the catalogue, “We are not able to not remain spellbound while observing the images of Claudio Vinci. If on one side the merit is surely attributable to the indisputable charm of the Tuscan landscape, on the other side, the fruit of yes so much wonder, that these photos succeed in being born inside our soul, and tied to the sensibility and the technical abilities of the author. The choice to seize these spaces, immortalizing particular perspective lines that dissolve toward the horizon and that, arrive to become ethereal, they connect to the endless space of the sky, abstracts the observer from the material reality to be projected into a spiritual dimension where one breathes the mystery of creation.”

Brief biography:
Claudio Vinci was born in Arezzo in 1958. He devoted himself to photo as hobby at the end of the 70’s, to then make it his actual profession in 1988. He dedicates himself mainly to the shooting of ceremonies and the portrait. From 2008, thanks to an initiative of Confartigianato Arezzo, he develops, together with a group of colleagues, projects of documentation of the territory, of the folklore, and of the artisan production of some of the cities of the province of Arezzo. Recently, he has been collaborating with the Villicana D’Annibale Gallery and Via Cavour 85 of Arezzo for which he cares for the official photographic documentation of the exhibits.
