Fuggevoli Presenze is an installation by SACI Ceramics Instructor, Lisa Nocentini, consisting of 50 carts connected in a sinuous path, seemingly infinite. Each cart presents us with an unexpected scene, and each narrative takes us to an imaginary and parallel world of curiosities.
Fuggevoli Presenze è una installazione di Lisa Nocentini composta da 50 vagoni di treno in ceramica collegati in un percorso sinuoso, apparentemente infinito. Ogni vagone ci presenta una scena inattesa, ogni storia ci porta a immaginare un mondo parallelo.
SACI's 3D Area Head, Lisa Nocentini received a Diploma of Applied Arts in Painting and Ceramics, Istituto d'Arte di Porta Romana, Florence; studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Florence and painting and ceramics at the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Aix-en-Provence, France. Also studied ceramics with English potters David Leach and John Colbeck and, from 1978 to 1981, served as assistant to Bruno Gambone. Since 1982, has worked as a professional potter in Florence and participated in exhibitions and competitions in Italy, Germany, and Switzerland.
