Le tema de chësc ann é „Confin“ y les operes metüdes fora de Land Art y de Public Art desmostra na gran varieté de tentatifs da i jì pormez al conzet di confins, che é dagnora misteriusc, ris da definì y da cöie te dötes sües implicaziuns.

DEU SMACH, San Martin Art Culture and History, wird heuer zum zweiten Mal ausgetragen. Es handelt sich um eine Freiluftausstellung im Dolomitengebiet und geht vom 4. Juli bis zum 12. September 2015. Die Ausstellung ist das Ergebnis eines internationalen Wettbewerbes, wobei 10 Künstler von einer Kommission ausgewählt wurden, um ihre Werke an 10 kulturell und historisch wichtigen Standorten der Gemeinde Sankt Martin in Thurn einzurichten.
Die Installationen haben das Ziel, das Interesse zur Kunst zu wecken und das Gebiet, in dem sie eingetaucht sind, aufzuwerten. Dank des zwischen Kunst und Natur entstehenden Dialoges soll eine erweiterte und lebendige Kenntnis der historisch-kulturellen und traditionellen Aspekte der Gemeinde Sankt Martin gefördert werden. Durch die fruchtbare Kombination einzigartiger Natur, zeitloser Architektur und innovativer Kunst sollen die Besucher zudem auch in ihrer emotionellen Seite berührt werden.
Das Thema dieser zweiten Ausgabe lautet „Grenze“ und die Ausstellung, welche sich in den Bereichen der Land Art und Public Art bewegt, zeigt facettenreiche künstlerische Versuche, sich dem so geheimnisvollen und schwer fassbaren, aber ansatzreichen Thema zu nähern.

ITA SMACH, San Martin Art Culture and History, quest’anno è alla sua seconda edizione. È una mostra a cielo aperto nelle Dolomiti che va dal 4/07 al 12/09/2015. Si tratta di un concorso d’arte internazionale. Gli artisti selezionati hanno realizzato le loro installazioni in dieci località d’interesse storico-culturale del comune di San Martino in Badia.
Le opere artistiche hanno lo scopo di suscitare l’interesse per l’arte e di valorizzare il territorio dolomitico in cui le opere artistiche sono immerse. Attraverso il dialogo fra arte e natura si vuole sostenere una conoscenza approfondita e in fieri degli aspetti storici, culturali e tradizionali del comune di San Martino in Badia. I visitatori saranno coinvolti sul versante emotivo da una prolifica combinazione tra natura straordinaria, architettura senza tempo e arte innovativa.
La tematica di questa edizione è “Confine” e la mostra, che consiste in opere Land-Art/public-art, ci fa vedere come gli artisti percepiscono il confine, un “luogo” non del tutto afferrabile, misterioso, che offre però allo stesso tempo una sconfinata vivacità di approccio.

ENG This is the second edition of SMACH San Martin Art Culture and History, an open space exhibition in the Dolomites that goes from July 4 until September 12, 2015. It has started with an international art competition. Afterwards, the selected artists have placed their artworks in ten different localities of historical and cultural importance in the municipality of San Martin de Tor.
The artworks are meant to arouse the interest in art and to enhance the Dolomites area, where the works have been located. Through the connection between art and nature SMACH wants to support the acquaintance of historical, cultural and traditional aspects of San Martin de Tor. Visitors will also be emotionally involved through a prolific combination of extraordinary nature, local architecture style and innovative art.
“Border” is this year’s theme of SMACH and the exhibited Land-Art/Public-Art works show many different interpretations of it. The artists perceived "borders" as a not quite comprehensible and mysterious "place" that offers, at the same time, boundless possibilities of approach.
