A performance with the choir of the Libera Accademia di Roma
For the final day of the exhibition Three Romans, the artist Emiliano Maggi presents - in the gallery courtyard and fountain - a performance to coincide with the end of Carnival and the beginning of Lent. With the collaboration of the choir of the Libera Accademia di Roma under the direction of Giovanni Gava – and using his own voice and instruments - Maggi pays tribute to the tradition of Renaissance Roman Carnival, medieval love songs, and ancient bacchanalian ritual.
