LOCUS meet and greet at Duchamp!!
Please join us for informal drinks with LOCUS Publishing at Duchamp in Venice, where the artists Stefano Cagol, Thale Fastvold and Tanja Thorjussen will be present.

In 2017 LOCUS Publishing presents artist books for our project CoSA - Concerning the Spiritual in Art.

CoSA:
In 2016 we started researching the spiritual in art with the CoSA project and in order to expand an artistic research we have invited various artists to create small editions of artist books about this theme. The first two artist books was launched during Documenta opening week at The Norwegian Institute at Athens in 2017.
LOCUS is collaborating with LATERNA (Marianne Skjeldal and Inger-Reidun Olsen) on the project "CoSA - Concerning The Spiritual in Art" which travels to Athens in Greece during Documenta 14 opening week in April, to Hammerfest in north of Norway in June and to St.Petersburg in October of 2017.
The project is a research based art project expressed through performance, photography, drawing and artist books as well as a publication about the project and the spiritual in art both historically and contemporary.

LOCUS Publishing was established in 2009 when we published Kurator? an anthology of 20 texts which investigate the role of the curator in the contemporary art field in Norway, launched at UKS with a seminar.
In 2015 we published the book ARTic in collaboration with Marianne Darlèn Solhaugstrand, launched at Kunstnernes Hus in Oslo, followed by Arctic Hysteria in 2016 which was launched at NY Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1.
