“Jupiter in Saturn” è la mostra realizzata in onore della celebre serie televisiva Twin Peaks dal Digital artist & Creative director Fabio Timpanaro e curata da Nero Gallery, all'interno dello spazio Fondaco del Festival del Cinema di Roma.
Fabio Timpanaro è un graphic designer attivo nel settore da oltre 18 anni; attualmente è docente di Adobe Photoshop presso le più importanti scuole di Design e Arti Visive italiane.
La mostra vuole essere un omaggio al capovaloro di David Lynch che ha rivoluzionato la storia e il linguaggio della serialità mondiale e al regista stesso, ospite d'onore della dodicesima edizione del Festival.
Le opere esposte si basano su una tecnica innovativa che unisce fotografia, pittura digitale e pittura ad olio quasi a riprodurre in chiave figurativa l'universo mistico e simbolico di Twin Peaks.

La sonorizzazione della mostra è curata da Luca Longobardi che presenta un’installazione audio dal titolo 2357. Il concept musicale nasce da una ricerca timbrica e metrica sull’immaginario sonoro del mondo Lynciano. Il titolo dell’installazione fa riferimento all’anno in cui i pianeti del sistema solare si allineeranno, richiamando così la congiunzione eliocentrica Giove-Saturno cui si ispira il titolo della mostra, congiunzione necessaria per entrare nella Loggia Nera.

L'evento è realizzato anche allo scopo di anticipare la mostra collettiva che si terrà dal 27 gennaio al 10 marzo 2018 presso Nero Gallery.

“Jupiter in Saturn” is an exhibition in honor of the famous TV series Twin Peaks, realized by digital artist & creative director Fabio Timpanaro and curated by Nero Gallery in the Fondaco space of the Rome film festival.
Fabio Timpanaro is a graphic designer active in the field for over 18 years; he is currently a professor of Adobe Photoshop at the most important Italian Design and Visual Arts schools.
The show wants to be a tribute to David Lynch's masterpiece which has revolutionized the story and language of world television serial and to the director himself, the guest of honor of the 12th edition of the Festival.
The works exhibited are based on an innovative technique that combines photography, digital painting and oil painting almost to reproduce in figurative key the mystical and symbolic universe of Twin Peaks.

The sound of the exhibition is curated by Luca Longobardi who presents an audio installation entitled 2357. The music concept is born from a timbric and metric research on the sound imagery of the Lyncian world. The title of the installation refers to the year in which the planets of the solar system will align, thus recalling the heliocentric Jupiter-Saturn conjunction to which the title of the exhibition is inspired, conjunction necessary to enter in the Black Lodge.

The event is also realized in order to anticipate the collective exhibition that will take place from January 27 to March 10, 2018 at Nero Gallery.
