With “Infinite places”, Nicola Delon, Julien Choppin and Sébastien Eymard, members of the collective “Encore Heureux” aspire to reduce “the gap between architecture and civil society”. Their exhibition, to be presented in the French Pavilion at the 16th Architecture Biennale, will offer a different perspective on ten buildings in France that succeed in hosting the unexpected and rely on collective energy through public appropriation. Deeply convinced that hybridisation between disciplines makes it possible to pool and optimise the knowledge required for the construction of the city of tomorrow, the promoters of the project will develop this theme during the six months of the Architecture Biennale. Part of the programming is the result of close collaboration between the collective “Encore Heureux” and the Fondation Bettencourt Schueller. Fully committed to breaking down the barriers between practices and innovation in the arts and crafts, the Foundation will enrich the discussions by combining the various creative trades (craft workers, architects, artists and designers) with the “material” as the common base.
