On the occasion of the 17th edition of the Venice Biennale of Architecture, Fondazione Berengo and WonderGlass are pleased to announce GLASS TO GLASS, an exhibition in which the world of contemporary art and the world of cutting edge design meet through the medium of glass.

A selection of works conceived by internationally-acclaimed contemporary artists and designers in collaboration with the glass artisans of Murano will be presented in two unique locations within the Venetian lagoon. An old furnace creates the perfect backdrop for modern designs at the Fondazione Berengo Art Space in Murano, while the ornate interiors of an antique pharmacy in the heart of Venice sets the scene for several works on display within the Berengo Collection.

Through this unique enterprise a survey of shape-shifting identities works to highlight the endless possibilities of progressive art and design in glass, and the fluid ways in which these two disciplines eternally inform and inspire one another to constantly renew the medium and assert its indisputable value.
