57. Biennale – Theatrum Orbis

Il progetto Theatrum Orbis rappresenta la Russia alla 57. Biennale di Venezia.

Grisha Bruskin, Sasha Pirogova, and the Recycle Group (Georgy Kuznetsov and Andrei Blokhin) represent Russia at the 57th Venice Biennale. “Theatrum Orbis” originally included only Pirogova and the Recycle Group; but later the curator decided to includ Briskin as well, to give a full view on the Russian contemporary art scene.
The latter will be not the center of the show, but his work will explore Russia’s past, in contrast with the present explored by the Recycle Group.
