Alan Stefanato – Fuochi fatui
Il progetto, a cura di Massimo Premuda, presentera una serie di lavori pittorici tra i piu recenti del giovanissimo artista triestino, tra i vincitori della terza edizione del Premio ORA.

Sabato 11 ottobre alle ore 19.00, la galleria GiaMaArt studio presenta la mostra "fuochi fatui", personale dell' artista Alan Stefanato. Il progetto, a cura di Massimo Premuda, presentera una serie di lavori pittorici tra i piu recenti del giovanissimo artista triestino, tra i vincitori della terza edizione del Premio ORA. Evento organizzato in occasione della Giornata del Contemporaneo promossa da AMACI.
Proprio come dei fuochi fatui contemporanei, nei quadri di Alan Stefanato si manifestano piccole fiammelle di mille declinazioni del Blu di Prussia, ma anche nubi e nebbie di tutte le infinite possibilita del bianco Lacca di Monaco emergenti da scenari bruni Terra di Kassel, celando e svelando presenze, esseri e figure ambigue. Un immaginario nutrito dagli spiriti orientali di una subcultura pop intrisa di manga e da significative suggestioni del paesaggio veneto. Sulla tela apparizioni e scomparse, partenze e ritorni, visioni acquose che seducono lo spettatore in un gioco evocativo e che, originate dalla decomposizione della figura umana e del paesaggio, bruciano e brillano nelle loro ultime fiamme di luce e vita.
Alan Stefanato, nato a Trieste nel 1992. Vive e lavora a Muggia (Trieste) Italia.
La mostra sara' visitabile fino al 31 dicembre 2014, dal Martedì al Sabato dalle ore 16.00 alle 20.00 e per appuntamento. Gli orari possono variare, si consiglia di verificare sempre via telefono.

Saturday, October 11th at 7 p.m., the GiaMaArt studio gallery presents Alan Stefanato’s "fuochi fatui" exhibition. The project, curated by Massimo Premuda, will present a series of pictorial works amongst the most recent by the young artist from Trieste. Stefanato is one of the winners of the third edition of the ORA Prize: an event organized for the occasion of Contemporary Art Day promoted by AMACI.
Just like contemporary ignis fatuus (“will-o’-the wisps”), there in Alan Stefanato’s paintings, appear little flames of a thousand variations of Prussian Blue, but also clouds and mists of all the infinite possibilities of white lacquer Monaco scenarios emerging from the Kassel brown earth, concealing and revealing presences, beings and ambiguous figures. An imaginarium nurtured by Eastern spirits of a subculture steeped in pop manga and significant suggestions of the Venetian landscape. On the canvas, things appear and disappear, depart and return. The watery visions seduce the viewer into an evocative game, having originated from the decomposition of the human figure and the landscape, they burn and shine in their last flames of light and life.
Was born in Trieste in 1992. Lives and works in Muggia (Trieste), Italy.
The exhibition will be held until the 31st December 2014, from Tuesday to Saturday from 4pm and at 8pm by appointment. The times may vary so it is advisable to always check by calling.
