Dal 26 febbraio al 3 aprile 2014 Galleria Galica presenta gli straordinari e raffinati lavori su carta di Arthur Duff Parallax View e Fragment_M80, un inedito grande lavoro nero della serie Fragments che trae origine dal lavoro Black Stars_02 presentato alla Peggy Guggenheim Collection di Venezia nella mostra Temi & Variazioni.Scrittura e spazio a cura di L.M. Barbero.

Tutte opere incentrate sulla percezione e come aveva sottolineato L.M. Barbero “…si domanda attenzione, tanta libertà, leggerezza…per poter entrare, vedere: percepire appunto”.

Il visitatore si perde in un infinito tappeto di stelle, nel pieno e nel vuoto dell’ordito e dei nodi che generano una nuova costellazione di micro eventi neri moltiplicando gli stimoli visivi.

On February 26th Galica will present three new works by Arthur Duff, Parallax View n.3 & n.4, two extraordinary and refined works on paper, and Fragment_M80. Fragment_M80 is a new large black work belonging to Fragments series which originates from the Black Stars_02 initially exhibited in Themes & Variations. Script and Space. curated by L. M. Barbero at Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice.

All works are focused on perception and as L. M. Barbero describes in one of his writings “… the capacity to observe his works demands light-heartedness, attention and freedom in order to enter and see: perceive”.

The observer will get lost in endless layers of stars, where matter and emptiness take form through the warp and the weft, and where a new constellation of dense black micro-events amplifies and absorbs their visual experience.
