Blindarte contemporanea è lieta di presentare la seconda personale in galleria dell'artista danese Benny Dröscher. La mostra sarà inaugurata giovedì 21 giugno in presenza dell'artista e sarà visitabile fino al 5 ottobre. Per questa mostra l'artista ha appositamente realizzato 7 nuovi acrilici su tela ed ha richiesto che ciascun dipinto fosse accompagnato da una seduta da lui accuratamente selezionata, su cui il visitatore potrà accomodarsi.

L'artista stesso indica alcune semplici azioni - "Concentrati. Svuota la mente. Respira. Fai una pausa!" - per predisporsi all'osservazione, quasi una contemplazione, dei suoi dipinti. Poiché godere a pieno di ciò che l'arte propone richiede tempo, in questo modo viene concesso all'osservatore tutto il tempo necessario a godere pienamente dei contenuti dei lavori.

Quando, sdraiati su un prato si osserva il cielo ed il rapido passaggio delle nuvole alla deriva, la mente resta meravigliata della ricchezza dei dettagli, dei colori, delle forme, pur senza focalizzare l'attenzione su nulla in particolare. Con questa immagine l'artista ci suggerisce un modo in cui accostarsi alla visione dei suoi dipinti, che - come sempre nei suoi lavori - attraversano armonicamente i confini dei generi e degli stili della pittura senza mai che ne prevalga uno soltanto. I suoi dipinti si mostrano come opere figurative, quasi iperrealiste, ma allo stesso tempo astratte; presentano una struttura prospettica, ma contemporaneamente la negano.

Lo spettatore è proiettato in una realtà completamente sgombra da pregiudizi e condizionamenti, dove il gioco di ambiguità tra ciò che è reale e ciò che è finzione, il forte richiamo agli elementi della natura, e l'utilizzo di citazioni, partecipano al coinvolgimento emotivo volto a rappresentare la spiritualità che pervade ogni cosa.

Anche i suoi nuovi lavori confermano questa attitudine: appaiono come delle astrazioni nelle quali si possono riconoscere elementi che non sono riconducibili ad un unico contesto in particolare, piuttosto ad una costellazione di contesti possibili, con varie influenze, tra cui Cy Twombly. Sono composizioni di elementi naturali e di citazioni simboliche che nel loro insieme "risuonano come una pratica zen".

La mostra suggerisce di predisporsi ad una condizione meditativa, indispensabile per poter godere a pieno della spiritualità che pervade la vita. Ispirandosi alle parole di D.H. Lawrence, Dröscher invita a visitare la mostra come una opportunità di vagare per una Terra Incognita dove "ci sono vasti reami di coscienza ancora inaspettati".

Blindarte contemporanea is proud to present the second personal exhibition at the gallery of the Danish artist Benny Dröscher. The artist will attend the opening on Thursday, 21 June, and the exhibition will last until 5 October. For this exhibition, the artist has prepared 7 new acrylics on canvas and he requested that each painting is complemented with a seat where the visitor can sit down.

The artist indicates a few simple actions - "Concentrate. Empty your mind. Breath. Take a break!" - to look at the works, a kind of contemplation of his paintings. Since it takes time to fully enjoy what art proposes, this way of observing allows the visitor the time necessary to catch the deep meaning of the works.

When, laying down on a meadow, you look at the sky and the clouds rapidly passing by, the mind is astonished by the wealth of details, colours, shapes, although it does not focus the attention on anything in particular. Thanks to this image, the artist is suggesting a way to observe his paintings that - as it always happens with his works - harmoniously cross the boundaries of the genres and styles of painting although none of them prevails on the others. His paintings are figurative, almost hyper-realist, but at the same time abstract works; they have a perspective structure but at the same time they deny it.

The visitor is taken to a reality free from prejudices and conditionings, where the ambiguous game between reality and fiction, the strong call to natural elements, and the use of quotes, lead to an emotional involvement aiming at representing the spirituality which permeates everything.

Also his new works confirm this attitude: they look like abstractions where you can recognize elements that cannot be traced back to a single particular context, but rather to a number of possible contexts, with various influences among which Cy Twombly. They are compositions of natural elements and symbolic quotes which, as a whole, "look like a Zen practice".

The exhibition suggests to get prepared to a contemplative condition, fundamental to fully enjoy the spirituality permeating life. Inspired by the words of D.H. Lawrence, Dröscher invites to visit the exhibition as an opportunity to wander through a Terra Incognita where "there are vast realms of consciousness still undreamed of".
