Adéla Součková, l’artista invitata al progetto Contain[era] dalla galleria Containall di Praga presenta l'installazione Chiasm. Lo spettatore è guidato attraverso il suo lavoro tramite indizi frammentari, storie senza fine o che iniziano allo stesso modo. L'istinto è il suo modo per esprimersi . Disegni e simboli, la storia si intreccia continuamente con il nuovo, assomigliando alla visualizzazione di Internet - una visualizzazione di caratteri lampeggianti. Cosi un video emette luce. Si tratta di una conclusione, che soddisfa il desiderio dello spettatore. Che cosa desideriamo? Per essere illuso dalle immagini, per essere vicino, per appartenere, per essere riconosciuto come un individuo. La catarsi è un inganno, il video promette a tutti la stessa cosa in un loop. Ciò che è vero è corpo, qui presentato nei disegni e nel video. Il corpo costruisce la "realtà", così come la "virtualità".
Condividere e ottenere informazioni, oltrepassando il divario di infomazione a livello locale e globale, scoprire le nostre radici nell’era post-Internet - questi sono i temi del progetto espositivo internazionale Contain[era], materialized Information Transfer in the Post-Internet Era.
Otto container saranno trasformati in gallerie mobili da 8 artisti di 8 città europee: Praga, Bratislava, Varsavia, Budapest, Roma, Zurigo, Berlino e Vienna. Dal 20 agosto viaggeranno per due mesi lungo un circuito che collega tutte le città partecipanti, fino ad arrivare il 24 ottobre a Praga, destinazione finale, che rappresenterà un momento unico di incontro, visione e discussione dei risultati del progetto, al fine di sviluppare un ulteriore container collettivo.
Gli artisti invitati sono: Adéla Součková (CZ), Dionýz Troskó (SK), Janos Bruckner (HU), Karol Komorowski (PL), Angela Kaisers (DE), Lukas Troberg (AT), Till Koenneker (CH), Carlo Zanni (IT).
“Uno degli obiettivi di Contain[era] è di materializzare la modalità di condivisione delle informazioni a cui ci siamo abituati nell’era post-internet. Costantemente adottiamo e riversiamo contenuti: la condivisione è il ritmo della nostra generazione” affermano le ideatrici del progetto: Alexandra Karpuchina - Art Direct, Jana Kubátová, Inter-Art e la curatrice Magdalena Hartelová.

Third location for Contain[era] tour: the National Library of Rome, with the artist Adéla Součková, invited by the Containall gallery in Prague.
The installation by Adéla Součkováfor the Contain(era) project is a Chiasm. The artist interweaves fragmentary clues with stories without end or beginning the same way the viewer is guided through her work. The way to entirety is instinct. Pictogramic drawings of symbols, historical mingling with new continuously, resemble visuality of the Internet - a visuality of flashing calligrams. To this a video emits light. It is a conclusion, fulfilling of viewer's desire. What do we desire, anyway? To be deceived by image, to be close, to belong, to be recognized as an individual. The catharsis is a deception, the video promises everybody the same thing in a loop. What is true is body, here present in the drawings and the object of the video. Body constructs "reality" as well as "virtuality".
How do young European artists reflect the cultural heritage of their homeland? To what extent does the place of installation shape the perception of a work of art? And to what extent is it possible to withdraw the modifying factors that emerge in the process of transporting and reinstalling the art? Travelling exhibition project Contain[era] aims at scrutinizing the relation of art and the context of its exposure. The ambition is to materialize the mode of information sharing which we became entirely accustomed to in the post-internet era: transferring the information with no fundamental shifts of the meaning in the course of the transferring process.
Eight young artists from eight European countries will be introduced independently in a group of eight large shipping containers turned into mobile galleries. These unique exhibition spaces will be travelling on the route connecting eight partnering countries – Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
Eight shipping containers will be turned into mobile galleries, each providing a space for a multimedia exhibition of one contemporary artist from one of the participating countries. Eight exhibitions, each focused on the notion of information transfer and depiction of national cultural heritage, will travel on a circle route connecting all participating cities, presenting the artistic information unmodified, undistorted by local influences. When the circle is complete, all the containers will gather in the coordinating city, Prague, to form one large combined exhibition.
