POLE POLE è un rallentamento dello spazio di produzione attraverso diversi momenti: prolungare eventi riconosciuti socialmente, praticare attese, essere abitante di un paesaggio costituendosi l'uno con l'altro. Derek Di Fabio invita i partecipanti dei primi due giorni di workshop a costruire un luogo in cui i tradizionali gesti si dilatano, si integrano fra di loro prendendo forma in sculture performate. In collaborazione con 2008daughters e con la musica di Charlotte Simon, l’artista analizza un tempo generato dalle attese di produzione, in cui l’occhio è distratto su altri particolari percependo ritmi e intensità differenti. TILE diventa un ambiente neutro in grado di generare un habitat nel quale azioni già compiute rimangono costantemente percepibili come inserite in un processo regolare.

Derek M. F. Di Fabio (Milano 1987) Dal 2010 inizia a collaborare con Cherimus e con cui attualmente coordina Darajart, una residenza per artisti internazionali nella baraccopoli di Kibera, Nairobi. Dal 2012, sotto il nome di DW2♡♡8, collabora con Isa Griese. 
Tra le attività più significative la co-fondazione dell'artists-run-space Motel Lucie (2010); Let's Circus, progetto di Marco Colombaioni presso la Piccola Scuola di Circo di Milano (2011), il workshop con Tim Rollins e K.O.S. alla Fondazione Spinola Banna per l’Arte (2012), la mostra personale Free Range Winter Banana al Pavillon Social, Lucca (2013). Le mostre da Almanac Projects When the sun is out, his house-shaped face bathes in it (Londra, 2013) e Yslands (Torino, 2014).

2008daughters è stato fondato nel 2012 da Isa Griese e Derek M. F. Di Fabio.
Si sono esibiti durante Dorollodive, Full Moon Saloon, a cura di Dafne Boggeri, O', Milano (2012) e alla JHB Fundation Royale, Brussel (2013). Nel 2013 hanno tenuto workshops allo Shooters Hill College, Londra a cura di Almanac Projects e durante Let the stars sit wherever they will, solo show di Matteo Rubbi, Studio Guenzani, Milan. Nel 2014 hanno organizzato SEW~U, per Yslands a Almanac Inn, Torino e hanno partecipato al progetto di Daniella Isamit Morale Alps Cover’s Tour. Recentemente hanno tenuto un workshop all'interno di Dirty Wellness, a cura di Francesca Zedtwitz-Arnim, L'Atelier KSR, Berlino.

Ha studiato alla Städelschule di Francoforte sul Meno e lavora come performer, musicista e videoartista.
Fa parte dei collettivi “Kristallo” (gruppo di performance con Zink Tonsur e Jonathan Penca, esibiti nel 2013 al MMK Frankfurt e nel 2015 a NKV Wiesbaden) “Bruno La Choir” (Städelschule choir project 2010-2013) e "mmodemm" tapelabel con base a Francoforte. Cura lo spazio progetto “office du pain” (Francoforte) e dal 2009 il festival di musica sperimentale “onetwopiecefest” (Darmstadt). Dal 2007 con il music/performanceproject “Mutandini Karl” e “Les Trucs” ha inciso diversi dischi e fatto tour in Europa.Vive e lavora a Francoforte sul Meno.

POLE POLE slows down the space that surrounds us in several ways: by extending socially recognizable events, by practicing waiting, being inhabitants of a landscape that is materializing itself through the individual and the surrounding.
Derek Di Fabio invites the participants to a two days workshop to develop a place in which traditional actions can expand and where movements assimilate each other, shaping performative sculptures. In collaboration with 2008daughters and with the music by Charlotte Simon, the artist analyses the notion of time that is generated through different aspects of production , in which the eye is hijacked to perceive rhythms and delayed intensities.
TILE becomes a neutral environment, able to generate a habitat where the actions that have taken place in it continue to exists and can spatially observed as part of a natural process.

2008daughters was founded in 2012 by Isa Griese and Derek MF Di Fabio. They performed at Dorollodive, Full Moon Saloon curated by Dafne Boggeri, O', Milano (2012) and at JHB Fundation, Brussels (2013). In 2013 they held workshops at Shooters Hill College in London curated by Almanac Projects and at Let the stars sit wherever they will, a solo show by Matteo Rubbi, Studio Guenzani, Milan. In 2014 the held the workshop SEW~U, in Yslands at Almanac Inn, Turin and they participated at Alps Cover’s Tour by Isamit Morales. Recenty they held a workshop during Dirty Wellness, curated by Francesca Zedtwitz-Arnim, L'Atelier KSR, Berlin.

She's based in Frankfurt Am Main where she studied fine arts at Städelschule. She works as a performer, musician and videoartist. She´s part of the collectives: "Kristallo" (performancegroup with Zink Tonsur and Jonathan Penca, shown 2013 in MMK Frankfurt, 2015 in NKV Wiesbaden) "Bruno La Choir" (Städelschule choir project 2010-2013) and "mmodemm" a Frankfurt based tapelabel. She´s curating the offspace "office du pain" in Frankfurt and an experimental music festival called "onetwopiecefest" (Darmstadt, since 2009). Since 2007 with her music/performanceproject "Mutandini Karl" and "Les Trucs" she released several records and toured all over Europe. SheLives and works in Frankfurt Am Main.
