J. D. Doria, nato nel 1961, vive e lavora a Tel Aviv ed espone oltre che in Israele, a Roma, Milano, New York. E' anche pubblicato come featured artist su vari siti d'arte e riviste online.

Artista interdisciplinare fin dagli esordi, partito da un retroterra di esperienza nel Cinema e nell'arte dello spettacolo, unita all'amore per la scrittura, matura nella pittura, incorporando la tecnologia, e portando la sua indagine ad estendere i confini del mezzo oltre la natura esclusiva dell'immagine singola. J. D. Doria sperimenta una tecnica innovativa che partendo dalla pittura, integra il mezzo tecnologico dello scanner3d e della fotografia, per cogliere l'atto della pittura nel suo divenire. Facendo degli ingrandimenti focalizzati di frammenti particolari estratti dall'opera originale, ma anche ripresi durante il processo di pittura stesso, evidenzia aspetti inediti della pittura come fase in divenire. Nelle parole dell'artista: "...il mio lavoro recente riflette un interesse sempre maggiore nel "Futuro" e nella "lettura" radicale dell'Estetica. Ritengo e suggerisco che l'esistenza di una stretta correlazione, di un legame a doppio filo tra Estetica e Futuro sia un mezzo per portarci ad un futuro migliore e più sano."

J. D. Doria born 1961, works and lives in Tel Aviv and has exhibited his works as well as in Israel, in Rome, Milan and New York. He is published as featured artist in various art sites and magazines on the web. An interdisciplinary artist since the start, he coagulates a background in Cinema and Stage Art with a love for writing, and matures into painting, incorporating technology and bringing his research to extend the boundary of the means beyond the exclusive nature of the single image. J. D. Doria experiments an innovative technique which starting from painting, integrates the technological means of the 3d scanner and of photography, to capture the act of painting as it unfolds. By making focused enlargements of specific fragments extracted from the original work, but also through shots taken during the process of painting itself, his work highlights unedited aspects of painting as a phase in its unfolding. In the words of the artist "My recent work reflects a growing interest in the 'Future', and in a radical 'reading' of Aesthetic. I do find and suggest a tightly coupled correlation between Aesthetic and the Future, as a means of arriving to a better and sane future." " The works of Doria are organic cells under the skin.
