1950 anni fa, nel 64 d.C., Roma bruciava in un grande rogo attribuito prima ai cristiani e in seguito a Nerone. Questo evento sconvolse e modificò la vita degli abitanti e la forma della città. Nel 2014 Maniphesta, vuole ricordare quell’evento in una chiave propulsiva. Gli artisti, attraverso la scultura, l’incisione, la fotografia, l’istallazione, la pittura, la performance, la musica e la video arte astrarranno il concetto di fuoco creativo parlando di Roma, delle sue radici e del suo futuro. Il fuoco di Roma, quello di Vesta, pulsa ancora.

1950 years ago, in 64 A.D., Rome was burning in a great fire for which the christians were formerly blamed and Nero afterwards. This event shocked and changed the life of the inhabitants and the form of the Eternal City. In 2014, Maniphesta wants to recall that event and read it in a tone of dynamic planning.The artists involved in the exhibition will draw inspiration from the theme of creative fire in their sculptures, engravings, photography, installations, paintings, performances, music and video - art devoted to Roman roots and future. The fire oF Rome, Vesta's one, is still on.
