Patrimonio naturale e culturale, il paesaggio racconta il nostro tempo:
il rapporto dell’uomo con la natura, le trasformazioni architettoniche e le innovazioni tecnologiche che modificano l’ambiente in cui viviamo e ne mutano la nostra percezione.
Il paesaggio concretizza anche le nostre sensazioni fisiche e aspirazioni spirituali. Per gli artisti di ieri come di oggi, è innanzitutto creazione dell’immaginazione e frammento d’intimità. Di fronte all’urgenza delle questioni ambientali, l’arte risponde con un ritorno alla percezione romantica della natura e, in una certa misura, al senso del Sublime – questa forma di innamoramento dell’ambiente che ci circonda, accompagnata dalla coscienza della sua fragilità e nel contempo della sua forza travolgente.
L’esposizione «Memoria del Sublime» ci invita a viaggiare sulle tracce di un mondo – naturale, artificiale o virtuale – in costante metamorfosi che incanta per la sua bellezza.

Patrimoine naturel et culturel, le paysage raconte notre temps : le rapport de l’homme à la nature, les transformations architectoniques et les avancées technologiques qui modifient l’environnement dans lequel nous vivons et en changent notre perception.
Le paysage concrétise également nos sensations physiques et nos aspirations spirituelles. Pour les artistes d’hier comme d’aujourd’hui, il est avant tout création de l’esprit et fragment d’intimités. Devant l’urgence des questions environnementales, l’art répond par un retour à la perception romantique de la nature et dans une certaine mesure du sens du Sublime – cette forme d’innamoramento du monde qui nous entoure, accompagné de la conscience de sa fragilité et en même temps de son extraordinaire force.
L’exposition «Memoria del Sublime» (Mémoire du Sublime) nous invite à voyager sur les traces d’un monde – naturel, artificiel ou virtuel – en constante métamorphose qui séduit toujours par sa beauté.

Die Landschaft, Natur- und Kulturerbe zugleich, spricht von unserer Zeit: von der Beziehung des Menschen zur Natur, von der architektonischen Umgestaltung und den technologischen Fortschritten, welche die Umwelt verändern, in der wir leben, und unsere diesbezügliche Wahrnehmung beeinflussen.
In der Landschaft kommen auch unsere körperlichen Empfindungen und unser spirituelles Streben konkret zum Ausdruck. Gestern wie heute ist sie für die Kunstschaffenden vor allem geistige Schöpfung und Fragment von Vertrautheiten. Der Dringlichkeit der Umweltfragen setzt die Kunst eine Rückwendung zur romantischen Naturwahrnehmung entgegen und in gewissem Mass eine Wiederkehr des Sinns für das Erhabene – dieser Form von Verliebtheit in die Welt, die uns umgibt, verbunden mit dem Bewusstsein für deren Zerbrechlichkeit und ausserordentliche Stärke zugleich.
Die Ausstellung «Memoria del Sublime» (Gedächtnis des Erhabenen) lädt uns zu einer Reise ein: auf den Spuren einer natürlichen, künstlichen oder virtuellen Welt, die sich in stetigem Wandel befindet und noch immer mit ihrer Schönheit verführt.

Romantic perception of nature and, to a degree, of the sense of the Sublime – that form of innamoramento with the world around us, together with an awareness of its fragility and, at the same time, its extraordinary power.
