Public Environment riunisce per la prima volta opere che sono state prodotte dalla galleria nel corso degli anni per esposizioni in musei, fondazioni, biennali d’arte, piazze, giardini e luoghi di aggregazione sociale.

dispari&dispari project è lieta di annunciare l'inaugurazione di 'Public Environment (opere pubbliche della collezione dispari&dispari)' sabato 10 ottobre 2015 alle ore 18.00. Public Envoirment riunisce per la prima volta opere di Costantino Ciervo, Christian Eisenberger, Flavio Favelli, Peter Goi, Dennis Oppenheim, Thomas Kilpper, Zafos Xagoraris, Patrick Tuttofuoco e Alterazioni Video che sono state prodotte dalla galleria nel corso degli anni per esposizioni in musei, fondazioni, biennali d'arte, piazze, giardini e luoghi di aggregazione sociale. I lavori presentati, molto diversi sia nella forma sia nel contenuto, sono legati da una caratteristica imprescendibile, l'entità monumentale; sono stati concepiti per luoghi pubblici e per interagire nello stesso istante con più persone. I materiali scelti per la loro realizzazione sono i più disparati, marmo, ceramica, legno, ferro, acciaio, bronzo. Nella maggior parte dei casi questi manufatti sono un tassello o il risultato finale di progetti complessi che hanno investigato realtà distanti per natura e contesto. Opere che spaziano dalla Social Art alla Land Art fino a vere e proprie opere di arredo urbano. I singoli lavori non saranno sistemati in maniera cronologica né per associazione di alcun tipo, l'allestimento della mostra sarà volutamente caotico, vivace, innovativo, un accumulo di storie e intenti che si compenetrano nel tempo. 'Public Environment', oltre a presentare pitture, sculture e installazioni, molte delle quali sconosciute al pubblico italiano, rimarca al contempo l'impegno assunto negli anni dalla dispari&dispari di sostenere e promuovere l'attività degli artisti attraverso progetti site specific di grande spessore anche al di fuori della sede espositiva. Progetti collaborativi che rappresentano appieno lo spirito della galleria e che hanno guidato il nostro lavoro in territori sconosciuti, portando la nostra attenzione e il nostro pensiero anche in contesti talvolta lontani dal mondo dell'arte contemporanea. Un vero e proprio testo critico non sarà redatto, piuttosto la presentazione delle opere sarà affidata alla descrizione dei processi che hanno portato alla loro nascita. * Con la mostra Public Envoirment dispari&dispari aderisce all'Undicesima Giornata del Contemporaneo, la grande manifestazione organizzata ogni anno da AMACI, l'Associazione dei Musei d'Arte Contemporanea Italiani, per portare l'arte del nostro tempo al grande pubblico. Giunta alla sua undicesima edizione, anche quest'anno la Giornata del Contemporaneoaprirà gratuitamente le porte dei venticinque musei AMACI e di un migliaio di realtà in tutta Italia per presentare artisti e nuove idee attraverso mostre, laboratori, eventi e conferenze. Un programma multiforme che di anno in anno ha saputo regalare al grande pubblico un'occasione per vivere da vicino il complesso e vivace mondo dell'arte contemporanea, portando la manifestazione organizzata da AMACI a essere considerata l'appuntamento annuale che ufficialmente inaugura la stagione dell'arte in Italia.

dispari&dispari project project is pleased to invite you to the opening of 'Public Environment (public works from the dispari&dispari collection)' on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 18:00. Public Envoirment' brings together for the first time works of Costantino Ciervo, Christian Eisenberger, Flavio Favelli, Peter Goi, Dennis Oppenheim, Thomas Kilpper, Zafos Xagoraris, Patrick Tuttofuoco and Alterazioni Video that have been produced by the gallery over the years for exhibitions in museums, foundations, art biennials, squares, gardens and social gathering places. The works presented, very different in both form and content, are linked from an essential feature, the entity monumental; they have been designed for public space and to interact in the same instant with more people. The materials chosen for their realization are the most different, marble, ceramic, wood, iron, steel, bronze. In most case these artifacts are a dowel or the end result of complex projects that have investigated distant reality for nature and the context. Works ranging from Social Art to Land Art till real works of street furniture. The individual works are not arranged chronologically or through any kind of association, the exhibition design is deliberately chaotic, vibrant, innovative, an accumulation of stories and intent that permeate over time. 'Public Environment', present paintings, sculptures and installations, most of them unknown to the Italian public, but at the same time emphasizes the commitment made in the years by dispari&dispari to support and promote the work of artists through site-specific projects of great breadth, even outside the exhibition venue. Collaborative projects that fully represent the spirit of the gallery and that have guided our work in unknown territories, bringing our attention and our thinking sometimes even in contexts far from the world of contemporary art. A real critical text will not be drawn up, rather the presentation of the works will be entrusted to the description of the processes that led to their birth. * Reached its eleventh edition, this year's the Giornata del Contemporaneo will open free the doors of the twenty-five AMACI Museum and a thousand realities throughout Italy to present artists and new ideas through exhibitions, workshops, events and conferences.
