From July 9 to September 4, 2022 Villa Torlonia - Parco Poesia Pascoli presents the solo exhibition of Simone Pellegrini entitled "Escaptura" as part of the project Villa Torlonia Arte, led by Atlantide and Sillaba, that runs the museum and the theatre of Villa Torlonia for the Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli. The Tinaie of the historic Tenuta Torre, place of memory and poetry of Giovanni Pascoli in his native land, host eight recent works by Pellegrini.

Will be exposed, among others, the last great work 2022 and his historical books used as notebooks of sketches and studies, accompanied by the video document of 2020 "Une circonstance imparfaite", signed by Disforme, which reconstructs the elaborate process of creating the works in Pellegrini’s studio in Bologna. The large-format works are all realized with mixed technique on dusting paper, starting from matrices designed with charcoal and transferred in monotypy through oil and pigments on large surfaces, and from paper to paper, consisting of sticky sutures.

"Escaptura" is curated by Arianna Bargellini for Atlantide, organized by Atlantide and Sillaba for Villa Torlonia Arte, with the patronage of the Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli (FC) and in partnership with Santarcangelo dei Teatri of Santarcangelo Festival.

The exhibition will be hosted in the "Sala delle Tinaie" and will be open Saturday July 9 and until September 4 from Tuesday to Sunday.
