Si chiude la stagione del Superbudda con la presentazione del progetto 30072007, attraverso le installazioni audio e video curate dal duo artistico Masbedo e dai musicisti Gup Alcaro e Davide Tomat, a ripercorrere le tappe fondamentali del processo creativo che ha dato la nascita al disco 30072007.
30072007 trae ispirazione da una coincidenza che ha voluto che il 30 Luglio 2007 ci lasciassero due maestri della storia della cinema: Michelangelo Antonioni e Ingmar Bergman. L’immaginario sonoro; realizzato dai musicisti e sound designer Davide Tomat e G.U.P. Alcaro, si lega al progetto visivo, presentato dai Masbedo in occasione della mostra Handle with Care alla Reggia di Venaria (ottobre 2016), nato dall’elaborazione di due scene fondamentali tratte dai film Zabrinskie Point (1970) e Monika (1956)
La sonorizzazione presentata al Superbudda ripercorre il medesimo iter creativo della realizzazione visiva, nella compenetrazione tra due tracce estratte dalle scene dei due film.
30072007 è un vinile 12” picture disc 33 giri. Il vinile è stato realizzato presso lo studio del Superbudda di Torino e verrà presentato venerdì 19 maggio. ll disco uscirà su tutte le piattaforme digitali a partire dal 29 maggio. superbudda.com/production 000 -30072007

Superbudda introduces "30072007 - Studio per un disco"

The current Superbudda season ends up with the presentation of the 30072007 project, through the audio and video installations by the artist duo Masbedo and the musicians Gup Alcaro and Davide Tomat, to retrace the key stages of the creative process that gave birth to the 30072007 album.

30072007 takes inspiration from the coincidence that on the 30th of july 2007 two of the masters of movie history, Michelangelo Antonioni and Ingmar Bergman left us.

The sound imagery, made by Davide Tomat and G. U.P. Alcaro, links to the visual project, presented by Masbedo at the exhibition Handle with Care at the Venaria Palace (October 2016), born from the elaboration of two fundamental scenes from Zabrinskie Point (1970) and Monika (1956)
The sonorization that will be presented at the Superbudda follow the same creative process of visual realization, in the interplay between two extracts from the scenes of the two films.

30072007 is a vinyl 12 "picture disc, produced at the studio of the Superbudda Creative Collective in Turin and it will be presented on Friday 19th May. The album will be released on all digital platforms starting from the 29th of May. superbudda.com/production 000 -30072007
