Marsèlleria hosts in its venue in via privata Rezia 2 the milanese stage of Zodiaco, a project curated by artist Davide Bertocchi.

The exhibition starts from the idea of using the zodiac as an exposition criterion; it is actually through this instrument that Davide Bertocchi, becoming a curator, chose the participant artists. Inspired by a 1970 work by Gino De Dominicis having the same name, the exhibition creates a miniature cosmogony, corresponding to the 13 star signs of the artists; so, unpredictable astrological affinities among works, artists and public were born, susceptible of interpretation and change.

“Maybe it is only the last fight between us and the aleatory, where every weapon is permitted: premonitions, magical practices, ancient rituals and superstition are included.” (Davide Bertocchi)

With the exhibition at Marsèlleria, Zodiaco enters for the first time in an independent space, after the stages at CAR DRDE in Bologna, Hopstreet Gallery in Brussels and Klemm’s in Berlin.
